Miela competed at the Raduno in Castrocaro Terme Italy on April 2, 2011 under the famous Italian judge Maria Grazie Poli and received second in her Ch. Brown Roan Bitch Class.

The Italians give a "grading" to all entries. The highest achievable grade is Eccelente - (Insufficient, Sufficient, Good, Very Good then Excellent...) Miela received Eccelente in Italy. We are thrilled, and of course we think she deserved it! I feel very lucky to have such a high quality girl in the United States.

August 28, 2010. This is CH. Italix Milena Olivia. She just completed her Ch. title today at age 12 months - just a few days after her first birthday. Today Miela went BOB over several top quality specials in Redmond WA at the Sammamish Kennel Club. This gave her another 5 pt major and she is finished.

Italix Milena Olivia (Ludstar Callisto in Italix Imp It x Italix Libera Maria) is a beautiful brown-roan female, with a typical square, well-boned outline, a close-fitting wirey coat and a head that has it all - expressive, round eyes, head planes that diverge, a refined, roof-shaped skull, with prominent occiput and lovely, draping low-set ears.

Miela is also very birdy! She has a very strong hunting instinct and desire - we look forward to training and hunting with her in the future. She is a fun, happy and very affectionate young dog who is a true pleasure to live with.

Both her sire and dam are certificated CA Clear and have KC/BVA scores well below the breed average.

Miela arrived in April 2010, aged just seven months and is making her presence felt in the showring, ably handled by Stacy Duncan. She already has both a 3-pt and 5-pt Major 'under her belt' with just handful of appearances.
